My name is Cynthia Madison. I've had a passion and
love for animals all of my life. I learned to groom on
the job, while working at Suds 'n Scissors, a grooming
shop in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
I've learned from all of my experiences, that there are
two major things an owner should know. First, your
dog needs to start his grooming experience after his
first shot - not when they are 6 months old. This only
causes it to be a traumatic experience.
Secondly, all dogs should be groomed at least 4 times
a year for maintenance. Groomers tend to find so
many things on your dog or cat that need attention that
sometimes owners don't realize, e.g. cysts, skin
conditions, fleas, and ear infections.
While I have been grooming for over 28 years, we are
blessed to finally call Pets of Perfection our family
owned business. In the past, I've worked at several
grooming shops all over the country, Michigan, Hawaii,
California and Texas to name a few.
I've consolidated into Pets of Perfection all of the great
lessons learned from those experiences, with great
results. The business is run smoothly and effectively.
I've had extensive experience with all breeds of dogs
and many cats. I'm willing to take on any challenge,
short of a dog being tranquilized. I'm selective with the
cats that I groom - their front claws need to be
declawed and the cat needs to respond to loving care.
